The Shmitah Fund is proud to offer opportunities for individuals and organizations to actively participate in the fulfillment of this crucial mitzvah.

 

Opportunities include:

• Organize a Shabbat Shmitah in your shul
• Bring a Shmitah-observant farmer to speak in your community
• Bring a Shmitah Mini-Curriculum and Student Tzedaka Project to your
            local Yeshiva Day School or High School
            – Coordinated with Rav Yosef Zvi Rimon and the Halacha Education Institute
• Plan a Bar/Bat Mitzvah project to assist shmitah-observant farmers
• Visit shmitah-observant farms in Israel as part of your community mission
        or family trip
